Former Minister of Justice and Public Security, Sergio Moro, said Sunday in a publication on a social network (3) that democracy, freedoms, the rule of law, integrity and tolerance go hand in hand.

“Democracy, freedoms, including expression and the press, the rule of law, integrity and tolerance go together and not separately,” he published.

Moro was one of the objectives of an act with undemocratic and unconstitutional guidelines held at the Esplanada dos Ministérios, in Brasilia, with the participation of President Jair Bolsonaro.

The protesters gathered in front of the Planalto Palace to demand the closure of Congress and the Supreme Federal Court, in addition to defending a “military intervention with Bolsonaro” and criticizing the former minister.

During this Sunday’s event, a team of journalists from the newspaper ‘O Estado de São Paulo’ was hit by kicks, punches, shoves and dragging.

In addition to “Estadão”, there was an attack and an offensive against teams from “Folha de S.Paulo”, the O Globo newspaper and the “Poder360” website.
