In a caravan and on foot, the protesters act on Sunday in the Esplanada dos Ministérios, in Brasilia, in defense of Jair Bolsonaro. Among the agendas, in addition to supporting the president, are criticism of the mayors, Rodrigo Maia (DEM-RJ), and the Senate, Davi Alcolumbre (DEM-AP); the Federal Supreme Court (STF); and ex minister and ex judge Sergio Moro.
The protesters began to arrive around 9 in the morning and, at the end of the morning, they gathered at Praça dos Três Poderes. Many wear green and yellow and carry Brazilian flags. A sound truck plays the national anthem and plays screams in defense of Bolsonaro and the guidelines of the other group.

“I live in the trash” is one of the insults that protesters sing in chorus. The banners demand that Maia step down as mayor. Others call for military intervention.
Around noon, the president went to receive the protesters who gathered in front of the Planalto Palace. Accompanied by his daughter Laura and, later, his son Eduardo, Bolsonaro went down the ramp and greeted his followers, keeping his distance from the fence that contained the crowd, largely without protective masks.
The entire move was broadcast live on the President’s Facebook. While the President was on the ramp, protesters threatened journalists. The military police had to approach with a car to remove them from the scene.
The president again criticized social isolation, said people “want to work” and called the governors “irresponsible”. He said that the country will leave this situation “in a haughty way.” “Unfortunately, many will be contaminated. Unfortunately, many will also lose their lives. But it is the reality that we have to face,” he said.
The military police did not release an estimate of the number of participants.
