On April 25, the day after ex-minister Sergio Moro showed the message exchanges to JN, the president did not contest them.

After giving a statement of more than eight hours in the Federal Police (PF), in Curitiba, on Saturday (2), the former Minister of Justice and Public Security Sergio Moro made the following publication on Twitter: “There are greater loyalties than personal ones.” The publication was made this Sunday morning (3).

During the testimony, Sergio Moro was asked about the allegations that President Jair Bolsonaro attempted to interfere with the PF’s work and in consultations related to family members. The charges were made by the former minister when he announced his departure from government a week ago.

The investigation was authorized by the Federal Supreme Court (STF) and will investigate whether Moro’s charges are true. If they are not, the former minister may face justice on defamatory charges and crimes against honor.
