President Jair Bolsonaro, once again, caused crowds, against the guidelines of the World Health Organization and the Ministry of Health to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

The President left Brasilia by helicopter and went to a service station, on the banks of BR-040, near the city of Cristalina, Goiás.

He again defended the relaxation of social isolation. But this time, he called for caution and defended the use of a mask. “Let’s be careful, okay, wear a mask,” he said.

Despite recommending the use of the mask, Bolsonaro used it incorrectly, leaving the chin guard on most of the time. The health authorities remember that, once placed correctly, the mask should not be touched to avoid contamination.

Bolsonaro also took photos with followers who did not wear a mask. At another time, the President raised his hand to his nose and then placed the same hand on the back of a follower.

Removing the masks is warned by health officials and doctors, because if the virus is on the skin or clothing, the person can become infected by bringing the mask to their face.

They also recommend not removing them, especially in the middle of crowds.
