President Jair Bolsonaro is expected to deliver to Justice the results of all the tests to diagnose the coronavirus that he performed within 48 hours from this Wednesday (30). The decision is made by judge Ana Lúcia Petri Betto, who rejected the medical reports sent by the Attorney General’s Office (AGU). The information is from the state of São Paulo.
The magistrate considers that the documents sent do not fully comply with what was ordered by the Justice last Monday (27). If the deadline is not met, there is the possibility of a fine of R $ 5,000 per day for unjustified omission.
Instead of sending the examination reports, the Office of the Attorney General of the Nation reported that it submitted to the Court a medical report dated March 18 in which it affirms that Bolsonaro is “asymptomatic” and had a negative result for the tests for the new coronavirus carried out in last month
According to São Paulo state, the judge also denied the government’s request that the case be handled confidentially because it involves information deemed personal to the president. “I reject the request for documentary confidentiality,” decided the judge.
