In addition to the rules already established, new factors can prevent the person from receiving the next installments.
Among the changes, the government also excluded the possibility that prisoners in a closed regime and Brazilians living abroad receive aid. The Provisional Measure takes effect immediately, however, it will be evaluated by Congress.
The government maintained the general income requirements. The person who has a per capita income of a maximum of half the minimum wage or a total family income of up to three minimum wages is still entitled to the benefit. However, new criteria have been established in relation to Income Tax, which may prevent the person from receiving the next installments.
