The thirteenth salary of the beneficiaries of the Family scholarship should not be paid in 2020, as confirmed by the technicians of the economic team and advisers to President Jair Bolsonaro (no party).

To be paid on the 13th to the beneficiaries of Bolsa Família, the Government must edit a new MP or send a bill to the National Congress.
Technicians say the issue is not up for debate
Bolsa Família serves families living in poverty and extreme poverty. All families with income per person of up to R $ 89 per month can be part of the program; and families with income per person between R $ 89.01 and R $ 178 per month, provided they have children or adolescents from 0 to 17 years old.
A technician from the economic team, consulted privately, said that the payment of the XIII Bolsa Família is not in debate. According to him, with the payment of the emergency aid, the beneficiaries of the program received an income transfer well above the average amount of Bolsa Família, of just over R $ 190.
“People received at least R $ 600 for five months. This amount is much higher than that of Bolsa Família and would be equivalent to 14 and 15. If we pay 13 for the beneficiaries of Bolsa Família, will we also have to pay those who receive emergency aid? It is not clear. But this decision is political and depends on President Bolsonaro. But there are no debates about this in the government ”, said the technician of the economic team.
Bolsonaro’s advisers also stated that the payment of the XIII Bolsa Familia is not debated by Planalto and by the legal advisers of the Civil House and the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic.
