A 12-year-old boy died after being shot in the head during a criminal attack on a Military Police vehicle that was parked in front of a supermarket on Avenida Brasil, near Bonsucesso, on Friday afternoon. In action, a 31-year-old woman was also shot in the arm and is not in danger of death.
According to the prime minister, a driver stopped his car next to the vehicle and informed the police that he was being followed by two other vehicles, which were in the westbound lane. When the shooting stopped, the military said a child and a woman were found wounded at the scene. The two were rescued to the Federal Hospital of Bonsucesso. The boy came to the unit alive, but did not resist. The woman, who is not related to him, was sutured and released.
The case is already being investigated by the 21st DP (Bonsucesso). Civil police have already been on the scene looking for magnets to help identify criminals and clarify what happened, and the PMs will be heard.
