An 11-year-old girl was raped by four teenagers last Saturday (10/17), in Bairro Novo Tupi, in the Northern Region of Belo Horizonte. The boy’s parents searched the Military Police after receiving a video of the rape on WhatsApp. A 23-year-old man, suspected of filming and publicizing the event, was arrested.
According to the record of occurrence, four adolescents, two of 13 years and two of 12, participated in the act. According to the girl, the boys forced her to perform oral sex and one of them even forcibly penetrated her. The victim, who knew the boys, also said that at some point she would have tried to escape, but the teenagers grabbed her and dragged her back to the vicinity of a camp that is at the scene.
All the minors involved were identified and attended the Integrated Center for Attention to Adolescents Author of the Infractions Law (CIA-BH). They were arrested and sent to the hearing. The mother of one of the teenagers said that the victim’s father even threatened her and defended the son, claiming that the girl “did not have a good reputation.”
The 23-year-old man was arrested on the spot. According to the Civil Police, he is investigated for filming, sharing and storing a sex scene that involves children or adolescents, crimes provided for in the Statute of Children and Adolescents.
