The last business day of the week ended Thursday with the rise of the indices in both capital markets of the country. Shares and unit prices of most companies have risen in both capital markets. Although the turnover on the Dhaka Stock Exchange-DSE increased, it decreased on the Chittagong Stock Exchange-CSE.

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the country’s main capital market, posted a turnover of Tk 747.29 crore on Thursday. Of the 347 companies that were listed on the DSE, 17 rose, 63 fell and 115 were unchanged.

At the end of the day on Wednesday, the total transaction on the DSE was 530 crore 35 lakh 59 thousand. Among the companies that participated in the transaction, the shares and unit prices of most companies increased.

Total turnover in the CSE on Thursday was 25 crore 53 lakh 70,617 taka, which is three taka less than the day before. Of the 220 companies that were listed on the CSE, 100 rose. Decreased in 64 companies. Shares and unit prices of 57 companies were unchanged.

On Thursday, DSE’s main index, the DSE-X index, is known to have risen 30 points to 5,417 points. The DSE Shariah index rose 5 points to 1,225 points and the DSE-30 index rose 9 points to 2,065 points.

On the other hand, the CSE global index, CASPI, has risen 54 points to 15,844 points. The CSEX index is up 33 points to 9,438 points. The CSE-30 index has risen 6 points to 12,114 points. The CSE-50 index is up two points to 1,193 points. CSI is up six points to 96 points.
