On Tuesday, the main index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) DSEX fell 12.99 points or 23 percent from the previous day to 5,591.36 points.

Trading in the Dhaka capital market has increased compared to the previous day. Shares worth Tk 1,043.36 million were traded in Dhaka on Tuesday, down from Tk 621.51 lakh on the previous business day.

The shares of 356 companies and mutual fund units were traded on the DSE. Of these, prices have gone up by 70 and gone down by 158. And the price of 121 hasn’t changed.

Among the other two Dhaka indices, the DSES or Shariah index has risen 92 points to 1,026.12 points. The DS30 index is down 2.56 points to 2,175 points.

The 10 most listed companies in Dhaka are Beximco, Robi, Lafarge, Summit Power, Bexpharma, BATBC, LankaBangla, GBBPower, Square Pharma and OrionPharma.

Dhaka’s top 10 capital market companies are Lube Ref, Rahima Food, Berger, Ziki Ballpen, Peninsula, Lafarge, Robi, Golden Sun, Shine Pond Ceramics and Power Grid.

The top 10 companies in the Dhaka Stock Market are Green Delta Insurance, Vanguard AML, Rupali Bank Balance Fund, Paramount Insurance, Premier Leasing and Finance Limited, International Leasing and Financial Services Limited and Bay-Leasing and Investment Limited.

On the other hand, the main index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), CASPI, has fallen 5.48 points to 16,256 points, 0.3 percent less than the previous day.

Shares on the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) traded at Tk 50.56 million on Monday, down from Tk 36.06 million the day before.

The CSE traded shares and mutual funds of 242 companies. Of these, 60 have increased, 110 have decreased and 52 have remained unchanged.
