The American company ActivePio has developed a special type of air purifier to disinfect indoor air. Indoors, hospital rooms, restaurants, movie theaters, shopping malls, shops – any small and large place has special technology to destroy the water droplets from this air purifier. ActivePio has submitted a proposal to the US Food and Drug Administration to deliver this purifier to homes in an emergency.
The air purifier has been designed in the company’s Arias Medical Guardian laboratory. Joe Urso, CEO and president of the company, said this purifier can disinfect 99 percent in seven hours. It is basically a medical device specifically designed to kill viruses, bacteria, and pathogens. Since the SARS-COV-2 virus can spread in respiratory droplets, this purifier has the technology to destroy the water droplets of the virus floating in the air.
The air purifier can purify indoor air in three minutes, says Joe, the company’s chief executive. Droplets of the virus that have accumulated in the soil can also be destroyed very quickly.
Viral strains may be present in the water droplets that come out of the human nose and mouth. When these water particles come into contact with air, they fill with water vapor to form larger water particles. This is called an air drop. Floating on this drop can spread viral strains. How far this airborne droplet or virus can spread or how long it can survive in the air depends on several factors. For example, wind speed, direction and humidity, amount of water vapor, etc. When the water particles become heavy, they fall off and accumulate on the ground or any surface. If this surface or substance is smooth, the survival time of the virus particle also increases. Source: The Wall.
