Own report: One of the volunteers fell ill after being vaccinated. When he complained, Serum filed a defamation lawsuit against him, ignoring the accusation.
The volunteer complained that after receiving the Covid vaccine, he developed neurological problems. He got sicker. But that claim is false, he doesn’t care
The Pune-based organization claimed on Sunday night that the Chennai volunteer, who was participating in the trial of the corona vaccine ‘Kovishield’ made at Oxford-AstraZeneca, had been accused of being “malicious and deceptive.”
The state of the volunteer is alarming, he feels total sympathy for him. But this condition of the body was not for vaccination. The Serum Institute of India (CII) has stated. Serum authorities said: “The mental condition of the volunteer is not related at all to the vaccine test. The vaccine is administered only after examining the physical condition.”
What exactly did the volunteer complain about?
The age of the volunteer is around 40 years old. Business consultant by profession. On October 1, Kovishielde was administered to a private hospital in Chennai. Then he allegedly fell ill. Nervous problems have started. The man was losing his memory. His family then filed a case against various companies, including Serum, seeking compensation of Rs 5 million.
The volunteer also demanded to stop the rehearsal and production of ‘Kovishielde’. However, ignoring the allegations, Siram has filed a defamation lawsuit against the volunteer for 100 million rupees.
