A 13-year-old girl from the Tongi area of Gazipur was called to work for the fine and allegedly gang-raped. Police arrested two teenagers in the incident.
Saturday (December 26), said the police officer in charge of Tongi West (OC). Delwar Hossain Chowdhury confirmed the matter.
Those arrested are- Md, a resident of the Dhaka Gandaria Saratchandra Road area. Mofazzal byaparira are. Shishir trafficker (18) and Junaid Islam Fahim (18), son of Anwar Hossain, resident of Gandaria, Dhaka.
OC Delwar Hossain Chowdhury said the victim was a seventh grade student from a local school in the Dattapara area of Tongi. I used to make tic-tac videos. The student met some teenagers who make ticks in different districts of the country on the social network Facebook.
On the afternoon of December 23, the teens took the victim from the Dattapara area in Tongi to the Gandaria area in Dhaka to work on the ticket with the identity of a Facebook celebrity. He was later gang raped by a group of people in a house. The next day, her mother filed a GD at the Tongi East Police Station after finding no trace of the girl (victim).
He added that after the GD, the police started raids in different areas. Later, using modern technology, police rescued the victim from the Hatirjheel Madhubag area of Dhaka on Friday night. The two teenagers were detained during a raid in Gandaria, Narinder Saratchandra Road area of Dhaka at the time.
The GDT was subsequently taken in case form on Saturday (December 27) and the arrested detainees were shown. An operation was launched on Saturday to arrest three more accomplices.
The detainees will be sent to court on Sunday. The girl was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for treatment, OC Delwar said.
