Dhaka Bar Association Managing Director of Elevator Accident Principal Architects Limited. Charges have been brought against six people, including Zakiul Islam. The plaintiff in the case said in the statement: “Under the terms of the settlement, the defendants were supposed to provide imported elevators and 10-capacity elevators from the Gold Star Company brand, but the defendant provided substandard and useless elevators . The defendant in the case, Zakiul Islam, along with the other defendants mentioned in the statement, provided the shameful and inferior promotion to the Dhaka Bar Association in collaboration with the unidentified defendant. The poor quality elevator provided to the defendants fell from the sixth floor to the ground floor on December 15 at around 3:30 pm. The passengers were trapped in the elevator for half an hour. The witness in the case. Saddam, lawyer Arsaduzzaman and others were injured. The injured continue to receive treatment at the hospital.
It is further mentioned in the complaint that the defendants have provided and installed a low-quality elevator with 34.70 lakh Tk from the Dhaka Bar Association. In the statement a request for an arrest warrant was issued against the accused.
