Announced the National Film Award-2019
Business Hour Reporter: The 2019 National Film Award has been announced. ‘No Dry’ and ‘Fagun Hawaii’ have jointly won the National Film Award for Best Picture. Best Actor Tariq Anam Khan and Best Actress Sunera Binte Kamal.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Information, the 2019 National Film Awards have been awarded in a total of 26 categories. Among them, ‘Na Dora’ and ‘Fagun Hawaaye’ have won the award for best film. Tanim Rahman Anshu will receive the National Film Award for Best Director for the film ‘No Dry’.
Outstanding actor Tariq Anam Khan will receive the best actor award for ‘Abaar Basant’. And Sunerah Binte Kamal won the Best Actress award for her performance in ‘No Dry’.
Fazlur Rahman Babu will win the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor. He will receive the award for his performance in the film ‘Fagun Hawai’ directed by Taukir Ahmed. Best Supporting Actress Nargis Akhtar won the award for ‘Maya the Lost Mother’.
Actor Zahid Hasan has won the National Film Award for the second time in his career. He will receive the Best Actor Khal award for his role as Khal in the film ‘Sapludu’. Last year, the actor won the award in the same category for his 2016 film ‘Halda.’
However, the film director Masood Pathik showed surprise. This year his film ‘Maya – The Lost Mother’ won the National Film Award in all 6 main categories. The film ‘No Dry’ produced by Star Cineplex is receiving awards in 6 categories. Impress Telefilm’s ‘Fagun Hawai’ and Desh Bangla Multimedia’s ‘Mane Manush Pailam Na’ will receive three awards each.
This time Emon Chowdhury for best musical director, Mrinal Kanti Das for best singer, Mumtaz Begum and Fatima Tuz Zahra for best singer are receiving divine awards.
Afrin Akhter and Naimur Rahman have been jointly selected as the best children’s artist, Tanvir Tareq and Plabon Qureshi as the best composer, Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury and Nirmalendu Guna as the best lyricist.
Actor, producer and director Masood Parvez (Sohail Rana) and actress, producer and director Kohinoor Akhter Suchanda are receiving lifetime achievement awards at the 2019 National Film Awards.
Soon, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will present the prizes to the winners.
