JOB student expelled for insulting religion

He was temporarily expelled from the university until further notice for hurting religious sentiments by insulting Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) on social media Facebook.

The order said it was aimed at informing the Registrar’s Office within the next 10 business days why he would not be permanently expelled.

The Tithi government is known to have been making various hateful comments about Islam through social media for a long time. In view of this, on October 24, all student organizations of the university held a protest under the banner of ordinary students demanding permanent expulsion from the Tithi government within 72 hours for insulting Islam.

72 hours before this demand, the university administration suspended the government of Tithi.
