The intensity of the conflict with China over the Royal Line of Control (LAC) is now somewhat stagnant. However, India is preparing step by step to deal with any situation. There are indications that increased pressure on Beijing could lead to the deployment of nuclear-capable ballistic missiles in India’s LAC.

The missile test was successful this month. But in the end, the Indian army and the National Security Council will decide where to deploy Shaurya. This news was reported by the All India Hindustan Times newspaper.

The missile called ‘Shourya’ is capable of hitting the ground from the ground. Its range is 800 km. The missile is supersonic, that is, faster than sound. According to the newspaper, India has already deployed a limited number of ‘intrepid’ missiles throughout LAC. Its range is up to 600 kilometers. However, the missile is smaller than the speed of the subsonic. So this time the deployment of supersonic missiles was also approved.

According to experts, the New Delhi move undoubtedly increased the pressure on Beijing somewhat. At the same time, the message was given that India is not ready to back down.

New Delhi has conducted four missile tests between September and this month, amid tensions with Beijing on the border. Success has been found in each of them. The hypersonic technology demonstration vehicle was tested on September 6. The unmanned vehicle is capable of carrying long-range missiles that are faster than sound. The ‘Brahms’ missile, which is faster than sound, was tested on September 30. After that, on October 3, the ‘Shourya’ missile was tested.

Finally, on October 5, India successfully tested a missile-assisted supersonic torpedo launch (Smart) capable of destroying submarines. In addition, India wants to accelerate the modernization of K-5 missiles. The goal of this episode is to bring the K-5 range to 5,000 kilometers. The missile can be launched from a submarine. The K-5 test is expected to be successful in the next 15 months. The missile will be deployed on a submarine from the Arihant tribe.
