Rajib Ghosh was presented in court on Saturday in the Jiban Ghosh murder case filed at the Mugda police station in the capital. Mugda police asked him to record his confessional statement. Metropolitan Magistrate Shahidul Islam recorded the Rajib confession. Rajiv was arrested the day before. Later he was sent to jail.

Jeevan’s body was recovered from inside the institution on Thursday night. Narayan Chandra Ghosh presented a murder case at the Mugda Police Station on Friday. But since there were no eyewitnesses, no one was named in the statement.
When the police went to investigate and verified the video of the store and its surroundings, they saw that Rajiv, Jiban’s brother, may have been involved in the murder. And then he arrested Rajiv. He also confessed to killing his brother after his arrest. He subsequently requested that his statement be recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
According to judicial sources, Rajiv voluntarily confessed to having killed his brother. He told the court that he was working with one on Thursday. At night he asked his older brother for 100 rupees. But the older brother scolded him for not giving him money. At one point he also slapped me. Rajib was angry at this. Later he hit his older brother over the head with a brick. This is the life that died.
Rajiv told the court that after his brother died, he left the body inside the store, closed the blinds of the store, and went home. There were no people outside during Iftar. He left the bricks used in the murder on the street and the store key down the drain and went home.
