In Noakhali, a case has been brought against another woman for torturing her by stripping her after attempting to rape her. The defendants spread the video on social media capturing the video stripping the woman.
The incident took place in the Adarsh village of Hatiyar No. 2 Chandandi Union in Noakhali on the night of January 1. Local terrorists have been reported to have tortured the woman in front of the child.
The 32-year-old housewife filed a case with Court 2 for the Suppression of Abuse of Women and Children on January 5.
The judge learned of the plaintiff’s allegations and ordered the Hatia Circle Additional Superintendent of Police to investigate and report to the court within seven business days.
Hatia Circle’s Additional Police Superintendent Golam Farooq confirmed the matter to the media. He said he went to the scene last Saturday after receiving instructions from the court. He brought data from there. He also said that the investigation report will be delivered to the court within two days.
In the brief in the case, the woman alleged that on January 1, in the absence of her husband, the local forces of Zia alias Jihad, Farooq, Enayet, Bhutto Majhi and Farooq entered the house and ‘tried to rape’ her. If not, the terrorists stripped him naked, tortured him and recorded the video on his mobile phone.
At that moment, he and his sons and daughters began screaming and the terrorists fled.
Later, her husband came to rescue her and admitted her to the 250-bed Noakhali General Hospital on Saturday. The woman went to court for two days of hospital treatment and presented a case.
Hatia police said they were trying to arrest the defendant in the incident.
Earlier, a woman was stripped and tortured in Noakhali’s Begumganj. They spread that video through social networks. This incident caused a commotion throughout the country.
