According to the government decision, after the opening of the educational institution, in the 2020-21 academic year, the admission test will be held in 20 universities in the first year in batch system.

The decision was made at a meeting of rectors of 20 Jagannath University universities in the capital on Thursday. The Vice Chancellor of Jagannath University, Prof. Mizanur Rahman, chaired.

According to sources at the meeting, three issues were decided at the meeting. First, when the Ministry of Education decides to open an educational institution, then the admission test of these 20 universities will be carried out. Second, aspiring students will apply according to the qualifications already declared. It does not cost money. After that, the selected candidates will have the opportunity to take an admission test by selecting the applicants. Those who will be eligible to take the admission test will be informed through a hunger message on their mobile.

Eligible candidates will reapply with a fee of Rs 500 and will be able to take the admission test. Also, the number can be deducted for wrong answers on the admission test.

It is known that each university will have a center. Basically, students will be selected for the admission test according to the seating arrangements in these universities. Students who wish to enter will choose the center at their convenience. In addition, several committees have been formed at today’s meeting.

It was also decided that students who have passed HSC / equivalent exam in 2019 or 20 will be able to apply. Only for this year, students who have passed HSC in 2019 and 2020 will be able to participate in the admission test.
