Sohail Mahmud, head of the forensic medicine department, said this after the girl’s autopsy at the Dhaka Medical College morgue on Friday afternoon.
She told bdnews24.com: “Although there were no signs of injury anywhere on the schoolgirl’s body, there were signs of injuries to her genitals and anus. She died of excessive bleeding due to perverted sex.”
After the autopsy, the relatives took the girl’s body.
The ‘O Level’ student from the Mastermind School in the capital was taken to the Anwar Khan College of Modern Medicine Hospital in Dhanmondi in an unconscious state on Thursday afternoon. The doctor declared her dead. A case has been registered against Iftekhar Fardin Dihan, 18, the friend of her son who took the girl to the hospital.
Kalabagan police arrested Dihan at the hospital on Thursday. He pleaded guilty in the case on Friday and testified in the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrates Court.
According to the case brought by the girl’s father, Dihan called his daughter home in Kalabagan Dolphin Alley and raped her. After fainting due to heavy bleeding, the defendant himself took him to Anwar Khan Modern Hospital to divert the matter.

Citing information obtained from Dihan during questioning, Sajjadur Rahman, deputy commissioner of the Ramna Police Division, told reporters at noon: “They had a physical relationship with the consent of both of them.
“Although he avoided at first, Dihan confessed to the police about the physical relationship at midnight.”
He said: “We have been friends with that schoolgirl and Dihan for several years. Their relatives know it too. However, this was not mentioned in the statement.
According to details of Thursday’s incident, the student’s mother left home for work around 8:30 a.m. Thursday. An hour later, his father left home on business.
At around 12:15 pm, the student called her mother and asked her to bring her coaching study papers. The only defendant in the case, Dihan, an ‘O’ level student, called the student’s mother at 1:18 PM and told her that the girl had gone home. He was taken to the Anwar Khan Modern Hospital emergency department after he suddenly fainted.
The victim’s mother arrived at the hospital around 1:52 p.m. after leaving the office. It was learned from hospital staff that the defendant called his daughter home in Kalabagan Dolphin Alley and raped her. After fainting due to heavy bleeding, the defendant himself took him to Anwar Khan Modern Hospital to divert the matter.
Upon receiving the news, a Kalabagan police team went to the hospital, prepared an investigation report, and sent the body to the Dhaka Medical College morgue for autopsy.
