More transactions at DSE in three and a half months

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) has the highest number of transactions in three and a half months.

On Wednesday, the main index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) DSEX was up 34.60 points or 0.6 percent from the previous day to 5,133.29 points.

On Wednesday shares worth 1,244.06 million Tk were traded on the market. On the previous business day, the transaction was 975 crore 51 lakh rupees.

This Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) transaction is over three and a half months old. Previously, more transactions were made on September 13. The transaction that day was for 1,329 crore 63 lakh rupees.

Shares of 354 companies and mutual fund units are listed on the DSE on Wednesday. Of these, prices have increased by 94 and decreased by 189. And the price of 91 has not changed.

Among the other two Dhaka indices, the DSES or Shariah index has risen 8.30 points to 1,017.30 points. And the DS30 index has increased by 23.61 points to 1,736.24 points.

On the other hand, the main index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), CASPI, has risen 90.12 points to 14,844 points, 61 percent more than the previous day.

Shares worth Tk 52.09 crore were traded on the CSE, compared with Tk 48.06 crore the day before.

Shares and mutual funds of 26 companies listed on the CSE. Of these, 8 prices have increased, 138 have decreased and 74 have remained unchanged.
