A 14-year-old girl has been repeatedly raped by a teacher at a women’s madrasa in Uchakhila Bazar of Ishwarganj upazila in Mymensingh. The student is known as the teacher’s ‘religious girl’. The incident was revealed four days ago. Since then, the arbitrators have imposed fines on the accused professor without sending him to the police station. No decision has been made on the incident as of Sunday. As a result, the raped student is mentally devastated.
According to local sources, the founding teacher of Ummahatul Mokmenin Adarsh Mahila Madrasa is Maulana Abul Mansur (55). The area is known as ‘Hazur’. The lord is the people of Tarundia Union Kandulia. Son of Bachir Uddin. About ten years ago, he bought land in the nearby Uchakhila bazaar and settled down. He built a madrasa in front of the house. Besides teaching the Quran, he also runs a coaching business here. About a hundred students from the area study at the madrasa.
Hazur Abul Mansur is known to have married twice in the area. The two wives also live together. In this situation, he turned a girl from a nearby town into a ‘religious girl’ and used to travel to that house regularly. At one point, he told the family to take the girl to the madrasa on their own. Meanwhile, due to his bad intentions, the teenager left him and went home. He did not go to the madrasa for several days. The girl’s mother said she was upset that her daughter would no longer go to the madrasa. Say no more. In this situation, one day he came to the lord’s house and told him about many hadiths and took the girl away again. A month later, the girl returned home and said that her husband had been using her as husband and wife by taking various oaths and had also signed a white stamp saying that he would marry her in protest.
When the incident was reported to the local president, the alleged lord was called last Friday. There, the girl described the rape incident to the president day after day. The incident was widely publicized as it was not possible to attempt to resolve the matter through arbitration. In this regard, President AKM Motabbirul Islam advised the family of the rape victim to contact the police station. Other referees are known to be trying to re-referee by arresting the girl’s family. On the one hand, those symptoms are being destroyed, on the other hand, the master rapist is trying to prove his innocence.
