Shahidul’s mother, Tamirun Nesa, is known to have filed a kidnapping case in the Kushtia court after failing to find her son for over a year. Shahidul’s late brother-in-law’s wife, Motahar, Rozina Begum, her father Jabbar Sheikh, and her mother Motiran Nesa were charged in the case. The court ordered the police station to take the case on March 5, 2019 as a regular case. The police headquarters then ordered the CID to investigate the kidnapping case on November 5 of that year.

It is known that Rozina Begum was married to Shahidul’s brother-in-law, Motahar. Since Motahar did not have a good home, he stayed at Dulabhai Shahidul’s house with his wife. At that time, Shahidul fell in love with his sister-in-law’s wife. When the matter came to light, Motahar began living in a separate house with his wife. However, a few years later, Motahar died. Shahidul’s wife also died. So Shahidul tried to regularize his relationship with his sister-in-law’s wife. I also want to marry him. However, Rozina did not agree to marry Shahidul even though they were in a relationship. Meanwhile, criticism of this relationship began in his village.

Later, Rozina moved into her father’s house. However, Rozina had contact with Shahidul. A few months later, Rozina moved to Manikganj in Dhaka. Akij worked in the group. There she fell in love with a man named Momin. Momin’s village house is in Sreepur, Magura. He was married to Rozina. But even then Shahidul used to call him. Later, Momin and Rozina planned to kill Shahidul. Then the two of them moved from Dhaka to Sreepur in Magura.

Rozina called Shahidul and told him that she would marry him. Shahidul was brought to Sreepur on the night of December 23, 2016 to discuss the marriage. Shahidul bought a kilo of sweets at Langalbad Bazar in Sreepur. Rozina and Momin were already waiting for the dress at the market. The two dresses were carried out on foot from an open field. Showing a distant light, Rozina told Shahidul: ‘That illuminated house belongs to my girlfriend, I will go there.’ Then take it across the open field. After traveling some distance in the field, Rozina and Momin grabbed Shahidul. There was a fight between them for about half an hour. Then when Shahidul got tired, Rozina sat on his chest and took his hands. At one point, Momin stabbed him more than once with a knife. Momin cut off his limbs to confirm his death. Momin and Rozina also lost their hands when they were stabbed during the fight. So they went home and said they had been caught by the thief.

The next day, Sreepur police recovered Shahidul’s body as an unknown. It is believed that he was killed by extremists. Although it was a murder case, the police were unable to conduct an investigation and submitted the final report of the murder case. The body remains unknown. Because no one could recognize Shahidul in that area.

SI Sujit Kumar Kar, the investigating officer on the case, said that while investigating the case, he first tried to find out where Shahidul’s last location was. With the help of technology, you can know that the last location was Langalbad Bazaar in Sreepur, Magura. Rozina was also in the same area.
