The court has ruled that the unfortunate Rifat Sharif was brutally murdered because Ayesha Siddique Minni and her parents lost their children. The Barguna District and Sessions Court of Judges made such comments as it watched the verdict of 10 adult defendants in the Rifat murder case at noon Thursday.
The full verdict in the Rifat murder case was announced on Saturday (October 3) evening. This information has become known from the 429 page copy of the verdict.
Meanwhile, Ayesha Siddique Minni’s father, Mohammad, one of the defendants in the case and Rifat’s wife, who was sentenced to death, was the first to receive a full copy of the verdict in the much-debated murder case. Mozammel Hossain Kishore.
In observing the verdict, the court mentioned that the defendant Rifat Faraji, Rabbi Akon, Sifat, Tiktak Hridoy, Md. Hassan and Minni planned in advance to assassinate Rifat Sharif. This has been proven beyond doubt.
Therefore, article 302 provides for the death penalty or life imprisonment, as well as a fine. Section 34 is not a separate penalty section. This section complements the other sections that impose the main penalty for the offense.
It has been said that if some people work together to carry out their common purpose, each of them will be responsible for the crime, just as they will be responsible if they do that work alone. Therefore, according to this law, the defendants are equally responsible for the murder of the victim Rifat Sharif in this case.
The verdict further establishes that Minni, the defendant in the case, was the mastermind of the plot and that the unfortunate Rifat Sharif was brutally murdered as a result; Through this, Rifat’s parents have lost their children. So if Minni doesn’t receive exemplary punishment, there is a danger that girls like her will get lost following her. Therefore, it is recommended that Minni receive exemplary punishment.
The court further said that the massacre, which was brutally killed in public with Ramadan, had defeated medieval barbarism. All have witnessed the murders through information technology and social media. Therefore, if they are not properly punished, there is a danger that the youth of the country will be lost. As a result, they should receive exemplary punishment.
After receiving a copy of the verdict, Minni’s father, Mozammel Hossain Kishore, went to Dhaka to appeal to the high court.
