In the by-elections of the Dhaka-5 and Naogaon-6 constituencies, the BNP candidates won the final certificates signed by Secretary-General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.
On Monday afternoon, the BNP President’s private secretary, ABM Abdus Sattar, presented the certificates from the party office in Gulshan to the Dhaka-5 candidate Salahuddin Ahmed and the Naogaon-6 candidate Sheikh Mohammad. He added that Salahuddin Ahmed was accompanied by his son Tanvir Ahmed, the organizing secretary of the BNP Dhaka South Metropolitan. He was accompanied by engineer Golam Mostafa, a former BNP deputy from the Joypurhat-2 constituency.
