Previously, the Office of Narcotics Control arrested 10 people in the same case, including Rear’s brother Shauvik, Sushant’s former manager Miranda, and former cook Deepesh Sawant.
Sushant’s girlfriend, Riya, was held in custody for 14 days by drug control authorities through a virtual court on Tuesday.
After Riya Chakraborty’s arrest, her Covid-19 was tested. After obtaining the negative result, he was handed over to the court.
According to the NCB, the actress is a member of a ‘drug union’ and she and Sushant used to invest in this illegal business.
Riya had previously confessed to supplying Sumant with drugs, NCB officials said.
