The scene at the foot of the five-story building is viral on social media.
As seen in the video, there are numerous robotic wheels under the building, which are rapidly moving the building elsewhere.
According to international media CNS, residents of the eastern Huangpu district of Shanghai, China, witnessed this unforeseen incident earlier this month. The building can be “walked” in front of them relying on automatic devices.
It emerged that the building was moved to another location, which is basically a 65-year-old elementary school. However, due to the new design of the city, the building could not be kept there. But authorities wanted to protect the historic facility. The entire building has been removed from the ground and moved to a new location. A sophisticated technology called a walking machine has been used in this work.
The technology was invented in 2016 by a company called Shanghai Evolution Shift.
His chief technical supervisor, Lan Uzi, said that 200 “mobile stands” had been installed under the five-story building. They are like the legs of a robot. It is divided into two parts. One goes up and the other goes down. How people walk. These are controlled by sensors connected to the front of the building.
