The decision was finalized in an exchange meeting with the university’s rectors on Tuesday, according to a UGC press release.

Earlier, on February 26, a political decision was made to take three batches of admissions tests at public universities.

Professor Mizanur Rahman, joint coordinator of the General University and Science and Technology University group and vice chancellor of Jagannath University, told the meeting that a central admissions testing committee made up of vice chancellors would decide the procedure.

“The committee will give a grade to the students on the admission test. The universities of this group will publish announcements in the newspapers about the admission of students mentioning their respective conditions and demands. Colleges will admit students with scores. Therefore, no separate admission test will be taken. “

UGC President Professor Shahidullah said there was no possibility that the university would withdraw from the admission test in the group system due to the coronavirus.
