RiverStone Health, the Yellowstone County Public Health Department, reports another COVID-19 related death from a Yellowstone County resident.
On Sunday, July 26, a woman in her 80s passed away at a Yellowstone County hospital, which is the 26th COVID-19-related death in Yellowstone County.
The recent death of Yellowstone County is reflected on the state’s COVID-19 tracking map on Friday and is the 60th in Montana to date.
“Our hearts ache when we learn of the death of another Yellowstone County resident,” said John Felton, Yellowstone County Health Officer and President and CEO of RiverStone Health. “May this woman’s family and friends be comforted with many happy memories of days gone by.”
“As the number of people infected with COVID-19 and the number of people who have lost their lives due to this disease increase, we must improve to protect each other,” continued Felton. “Show kindness and care with the simple acts of wearing masks, observing your distance from others, washing your hands frequently, and staying home when you are sick.”
To date, 1,022 residents of Yellowstone County have been infected with COVID-19.
