Happy Thanksgiving weekend to all of you out there, as we get out of the real holiday and plow ahead with what is now likely to be a very traditional Black Friday.

Not only is the non-traditional because the doors of numerous retail stores will not be nearly full this year, but No. 2 Notre Dame plays a regular season game on Fridays that never happens and they are spending Thanksgiving in the East. Coastal or outlying area to the west instead of Southern California.

Notre Dame looks to be full year on year, but his next task is nothing short of easy, as he is in North Carolina. Don’t let the two losses be fooled by any stretch, this Tar Heels team can get points with the best teams and no lead has been so big for them not to get back into the game this year.

So what happens on a Friday afternoon? Is the Irish unbeaten? Or has North Carolina ended the dream of a full season and made the Irish path to the league football playoffs that are more difficult?

Here is what Fighting Irish Wire staff started with Geoffrey Clark.
