The 2020 Billboard Music Awards got the green light to return on October 14 this year, after being postponed due to coronavirus. So who should act?
Garth Brooks will receive the Icon Award at this year’s ceremony, and the 19-time BBMA winner will deliver a performance. It would be great to see artists who have their first no. 1-point scores on the Billboard Hot 100 show up on these chart-toppers Billboard stage, including DaBaby, Roddy Ricch, Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, Selena Gomez, Kid Cudi and Harry Styles. Nicki Minaj makes this list as well, but her pregnancy has not been easy so far and it is unclear when her due date is.
But with some of the biggest pop stars like Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa and Miley Cyrus fans in the latest disco-influenced dance genre, this will be the perfect night to bring their worlds Chromatica, Future Nostalgia en She’s Miley Cyrus, respectively, to life.
