It’s officially San Diego Comic-Con 2020! We would be charging laptops in our PCs instead of jumping on flights and trains to Southern California, but we’re still gearing up for a lot of panels, cosplayand of course exciting news. The io9 team met (virtually) to discuss our hopes, fears, and expectations for Comic-Con @ Home.

Io9 editor Jill Pantozzi recently hosted a chat with Charles Pulliam-Moore, Germain Lussier, Cheryl Eddy, and James Whitbrook to talk about all the shows and movies we look forward to in 2020, 2021, and beyond, whether we think they could. make a surprise appearance in SDCC or not. We touch Disney’s WandaVision, director Nia DaCosta’s opinion on The candy man, and a lot plus. Germain even chatted Avatar aftermath that no one else seems to want.

Be sure to check out the video above, produced by Mike Damanskis, for a close encounter with most io9 staff as we prepare for San Diego Comic-Con 2020 (at home). And be sure to leave a comment with the shows and movies. you are more psyched!
