Voicemod arrives on the iPhone to change his voice to Darth Vader, T-Pain and more

The popular Voicemod voice change app is coming to iPhone today. Voicemod Clips is a new mobile application that will allow iPhone owners, and Android users soon, to modify their voice for short videos and audio clips. The application is completely free, without annoying ads or freemium functions. You can choose from a variety of face and audio filters to create clips that can be freely shared on social media, messaging apps, and more.

Like the desktop application for PC, Voicemod Clips allows you to choose from a variety of different voices that modify your voice in real time at the flip of a switch. There are 12 to choose from daily, from a library of 60 in total. Effects are a fun way to alter your voice for jokes with friends, or to add a creative touch to that TikTok punch.

I’ve been testing the app for the past week, testing a variety of voices, including a “sword” that makes you sound like Darth Vader, another that amplifies your voice like a megaphone, and even an automatic T-Pain melody option. Clips can last up to 60 seconds and are saved as videos for easy sharing in a variety of other mobile applications.

Voicemod has partnered with T-Pain to create a special voice based on the rapper’s infamous use of self-tuning. It is the only voice I have tested that requires wearing headphones. “This partnership with Voicemod has been a long time coming. I’ve been using their desktop version for a while when I’m playing, “says T-Pain.” I was really excited when they came over to do something together. I hope people have as much fun as I do. “

While there are several voice-changing apps for mobile and PC devices, Voicemod has certainly become one of the most popular for streamers, gamers, and creators. The PC version also includes a sound box so you can change your voice with presets or import MP3s to play while you speak. Voicemod Clips does not yet include the functionality of the soundboard.

Voicemod uses a combination of artificial intelligence and digital signal processing technologies for its synthetic voices. The Spain-based company recently raised € 7.1 million in investments to improve its voice conversion technologies. Voicemod has also experimented with previously available mobile apps like Another Voice, Voice Swap, and Funny Calls. The launch of the main Voicemod application on mobile devices is clearly an important part of the company’s ambition to go beyond the PC.

While Voicemod Clips is free, the 12-voice daily rotation hints that the company may introduce some sort of paid tier to access all effects simultaneously. Voicemod on PC is also free, with 7 voices rotating every week. The Pro version of Voicemod on PC unlocks all effects, custom voices and more options for the soundboard.

You can download the iPhone version of Voicemod Clips from the Apple App Store, and the Android app should be available in the coming days on the Google Play Store.
