Years have passed since a new update, but now we finally have one! This is full of content!
After around three weeks, the Fortnite and Epic Gamesm team have released the latest patch for Chapter 2 Season 3.
Despite being only the second update of the season, this update brings a lot of new content for gamers.
With events happening in-game very soon, V13.30 sets things up very well.
Latest News – Official Reddit Post
A Reddit post from the official Fornite team said:
“Hi all!
“The Sea-son continues with another wave of Summer Splash LTM and more.
“V13.30 arrives tomorrow, July 21. This time, the downtime will start at 4 AM ET (08:00 UTC).
Please note: the patch size will be larger than usual on Nintendo Switch.
“Thank you.”
Prepare to see what the total length of the update is.
Full patch notes
In classic Epic Games fashion, they haven’t provided detailed patch notes!
However, the night before the update was released, they sent some minor notes to the creators.

Cars
Since the start of the new season, cars have been one of the most anticipated aspects of Season 3.

Now they can finally be used around the map; and most of the stationary around the map have been “removed”.

Atlantis?
In the patch notes they sent to Epic Games Partners, it looks like something is going to show up when the water level drops.

Notes say “As water levels drop, familiar places are revealed and something new (and a new challenge) emerges.”
All this confirms that the Atlantis POI will arrive soon, right? What else could Epic be talking about?
Error correction
Before releasing each patch, Epic likes to post the bugs they are fixing on their Trello dashboard.
These are the ones addressed during this patch:
- No supplies open at The Authority
- Swirls disabled
- Floating ring visible snot
- Slippage doesn’t work around The Authority
