Umbrella Academy Star Justin H. Min on That Big Season 2 Final Cliffhanger

E !: What if you wear the same outfit all the time and the potential to have a different wardrobe for a season?

JM: Now first it was really hot. Last season we shot the dead of winter, so it was good because I was actually one of the hottest cast members, but then, of course, before season two, we shot into the dead of the winter. summer so I bucketed with the black on black on black on black outfit. But actually, they were nice enough this year to cut the sleeves off the sweater so you can apparently not see it because it’s under the leather jacket, but at least I did not have double sleeves. I just had the hoodie and leather jacket on top, but still – really hot, really hot. But there is also a bit of safety and comfort in it. I had to set, the first day of shooting season two, and the moment I put on my boots, the moment I put on my leather jacket – it’s kind of like riding a bike, you feel the character again, you feel right where you would be.

As for the crazy change in the last scene of this season, we went through a few iterations of that uniform. They tried to test different fabrics, different colors, different variations. While everyone was shooting episode 10, I spent the whole day pretty busy watching what the actual new Sparrow Academy uniform would look like. I was also in a bunch of hair tests. We had 20 different versions of Ben’s new hairstyle, so it’s a really big deal, because you’ll be setting up a glowing character, especially one that’s going to have a pivotal role next season. It was very strange to tackle the new outfit, but again, fittingly, as I started wearing that new outfit, I tried to put on a new character.
