[U: Public beta] 14 Paul iOS 14.1 releases iOS 14.2 Beta 4 to developers following public release

Just hours after the release of iOS 14.1, Apple Pal is now releasing a fourth iOS 14.2 beta to developers. The update will be available to developers via an over-the-air update in the Settings app.

21 October October updateThe update is now available to the public beta users, along with new wallpapers.

As always, if the update doesn’t show up for download right away, keep checking as it takes a while for all registered developers to rollout.

With the redesigned AirPlay 2 controls in the Control Center, iOS 14.2 now brings an update by playing controls on the touch screen. Another brand new change in iOS 14.2 is the brand new Shazam Tuggle which can be added to the Control Center.

To add the new Shazam Music Recognition to the Control Center, first make sure you’re running the developer beta of iOS 14.2, which is rolling out today. Then, open the Settings app, select “Control Center”, then find Shazam under the “More Controls” header. You can then add a shuffle tug and rearrange it as you see fit.

We still don’t know what’s new in iOS 14.2 Beta 4, but it probably brings the same features as iOS 14.1, including 10-bit HDR support in the photo app and intercom for homepods.
