‘Titanic,’ ‘Back to the Future’ actress Elsa Raven dies at 91


Actress Elsa Raven, best known for her roles in “Back to the Future” and “Titanic”, has died at the age of 91.

Raven’s agent confirmed to Deadline that she died Tuesday at her Los Angeles home.

No additional details were given about his death. She is survived by 15 nieces and nephews.

Born Elsa Rabinovitz, the actress began her career on stage in New York, according to outlet reports. He appeared in several plays on Broadway, including “The Legend of Lizzie”.

Raven was also known for his role as a real estate agent in “The Amityville Horror”, “Landlord in the Line of Fire” and “Gertrude Stein” in “The Mudernus”.

Her role as Ida Strauss in “Titanic” was largely cut from the film, while Raven appeared as a woman in a statorroom with an elderly man in Ceylon Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On” music video as water begins to enter the vessel. .

In “Back to the Future” she played the role of an activist who pleaded with Marty McFly to “save the power of the clock.”

He also appeared in numerous soaps, including “General Hospital” as Tugboat Tessie and “Days of Our Lives” as Lucille.

Other television credits include “Seinfeld,” “Wisegui,” and “Amen.”

Her most recent credit went to the short one in 2011, “They’re With Me,” in which she played Fanny Finner in the Great Grandma. That same year, she appeared as Mrs. Harrison in “Nothing from Answers.”
