All indications are that Samsung will unveil its next set of true wireless headphones at the company’s Unpacked event next month. We’ve already seen them and will reportedly be tagged as Galaxy Buds Live. (It’s really silly for Samsung not only to own the design and call them Galaxy Beans, but I’m going astray.) Now, the new images and a video posted by Twitter user h0x0d give us an even closer look at Buds Live, and how I’ll look at it when it’s worn.
In the following marketing video, you’ll see a tag that suggests Galaxy Buds Live could they have active noise cancellation. Keep the noise out. Let the sound in. The buds don’t have silicone tips or an ear stamp, so I’m curious how Samsung managed the ANC if it turns out it’s there.
In the follow-up photo, you can see that there are a series of grills and microphones around each earphone, so there are a lot of things here. Samsung’s Galaxy Buds Live is expected to come in black, copper, and white.
I still haven’t seen a solid rumor about what they will cost. The company’s newest headphones, the Galaxy Buds Plus, are priced at $ 149.99, though they’re often on sale, and our pick for real wireless headphones.
The Samsung Unpacked event, where the company is also expected to announce the Galaxy Note 20, a 5G-enabled Galaxy Z Flip, and more, is scheduled for August 5 at 10 a.m. ET.
