Irobot says I3 + can capture up to 99 percent of pollen, mold, dust mites and cat and dog allergens. Apparently it has 10 times the suction power of the Romba 600 series and has the ability to detect where dirt originates, so it can focus on those areas.
Like its predecessors, the Romba I ++ and S, +, the I ++ comes with a cleaning base called Clean Base Auto Tomatic Dirt Disposal where the machine automatically empties debris and doubles as a charging station. The clean base encloses the debris in a four-layer bag of allergen-blocking material and is large enough to hold months worth of dirt and dust. It’s a lot cheaper than the $ 1,000 i7 + and 4 1,400 s9 +, though – he said, you can get a new Romba at a fairly cheap price without a clean base.
The clean-based Romba i + will give you US $ 9 back, while the baseless i3 costs US $ 399. Both models are now available on the iRobot website in Europe and Canada and will go on sale at various retailers later this month. Rumba i3 + will also be available in other countries in the first quarter of 2021.
