Google confirmed earlier this month that it had discontinued the larger Home Max smart speaker. The company now recommends that people buy two Nest Audio Dio speakers and connect in stereo mode for a similar experience, but if you still want a real deal, Google has now probably re-stocked the Home Max for the last time.

The Google Store page for Home Max still says the speaker is “sold out,” but you can add it to your cart for 179. Only charcoal color seems to be available, not the chalk version. Those speakers aren’t the cheapest ever (Home Max was $ 150 during Black Friday), but for the sound quality and volume on offer. 179 is still a reasonable price.

Google has previously said it will continue to support Home Max through software software updates, but if you don’t want to take the company’s word for it, there’s a support port behind. Whenever the Home Max stops working as a smart speaker, you’ll still be able to plug in other devices for playback.
