Sonja Frazier Saves Man’s Life After Exiting Taco Bell’s Drive-Thru in Clarksville, Tennessee

(News)
– Strange things often happen at fast-food drive-thrus, but fortunately for one man at a Taco Bell in Clarksville, Tenn., Sonja Frazier worked the day he advised to place an order. Folk reports that Frazier and her co-workers noticed on August 12 that the drive through the line had suddenly stopped moving, and when her manager checked the surveillance video, one of the cars was standing in the wrong way. “It looked like it ran into the drive-thru line and blocked it,” she tells Clarksville Now. When an employee went outside to see what was going on, he noticed a man in the driver’s seat of the strangely parked van hanging over the steering wheel. Frazier, 37, ran out to help him, and when they saw that the man had turned blue, she jumped into action.

Even though Frazier has worked at Taco Bell for more than a decade, she was a health care worker at home before that, and so she is certified in first aid. The two employees pulled the man out of the van, and Frazier, who despite “extremely afraid of COVID-19” began performing CPR. “IK [did] CPR until the firetruck arrived, “she said. By the time the first responders arrived and took over, the man had gained some of his color. Frazier later found out his name and posted him on Facebook to see how it went with him went. ” He reached out and said thank you, “she says.” He said he wanted to repay me, but this is repayment enough to know he’s fine. The two may soon go to lunch – Frazier’s treatment, she says. (Read more uplifting news stories.)
