Samsung’s big unpacked event on August 5 could also include a pair of new true wireless headphones, the bean-shaped Galaxy Buds Live that was often leaked. In every way, these will not be a replacement for the Galaxy Buds +, but will likely be sold alongside them.
And that’s because Buds Live may be Samsung’s first truly wireless pair to feature active noise cancellation, also known as ANC. That would make them perfect competitors for Apple’s successful AirPods Pro, which also has ANC.

The leaked official-looking promotional video on Twitter, which you can watch above, seems to confirm ANC’s presence on Buds Live, even if it doesn’t mention it directly. We also have another look at the bud design as well as the three colors that will be offered.
Samsung is once again choosing not to copy the design of the AirPods (as many of its Chinese competitors do) and go its own way. Galaxy Buds and Buds + look nothing like AirPods, and Galaxy Buds Live look nothing like AirPods Pro. However, Buds and Buds + are extremely comfortable, so we hope the same is true. for Buds Live, despite its strange appearance.
