Earlier this month, Samsung announced a complete refresh of their mobile portfolio. However, there were some important details that were not announced – especially as far as it was concerned Samsung’s next folding phone– That Samsung has decided to do the job by hosting a second event new week.

Although it is currently unclear if Galaxy Unpacked Part 2 will be a live or pre-recorded online event, based on the teaser that Samsung released earlier today, it is clear that the main topic of the Galaxy Z Fold 2. During its previous events, while Samsung announced the successor to the original Galaxy Fold and showing off its updated design, Samsung did not share much about the specs, price, or release date of the phone.

Currently, the biggest question about the Galaxy Z Fold regarding the price, because the price was just $ 2,000, the original Galaxy Fold was quite expensive, putting it out of reach for all but the most extreme enthusiasts. And while Samsung ended up making a foldable phone quite a bit cheaper in the $ 1,400 Galaxy Z Flip, which is still above the price of a typical phone buyer.

Apart from the Z Fold 2, Samsung will probably also release a price and shipping date for the Galaxy Tab S7, which was announced earlier this month, but with little info on retail availability.

And while other previously announced Samsung products like the Galaxy Note 20 en Galaxy Watch 3 have already gone on sale, with Galaxy Unpacked Part 2 scheduled to take place shortly IFA 2020 starting in Germany later in the week, I would not put it past Samsung to at least plan a little surprise for their event as well.
