Raed Arafat said that, depending on the risks, the courses will be conducted “either with the students in the school or with the students divided between the school and the online area.”
“At the same time, there will be times when it will be possible to close for a few days (school – ed.) If several cases appear there. It is a rule that is in order: about how many cases, in how many classes. Then it is decided whether the respective school is suspended for a short period, ”said Arafat.
When asked if he would send his son to school, if he had one, the Secretary of State for the Ministry of the Interior replied: “Most likely yes, but knowing that there are measures that are well taken and clear, that will protect the child as much as possible. ” the more you can. “
He recommended that families impose certain rules at home during the next few months, namely that the child does not interact directly with the grandparents, “which is not easy.”

When asked if the school should provide protective masks for teachers, the DSU director replied, “It’s a job. The government official specified that the classification of children can be carried out by non-medical personnel of the unit, such as a teacher.

However, Arafat said that decisions about epidemiological situations in schools will have to be made at the local level, depending on needs.
