Drummers from the Bâlea district intervened with snow removal equipment and non-slip material on Sunday morning in Transfăgărășan, where it snowed.
- “Winter has completely taken over Transfăgărășan. Our colleagues from the Bâlea district acted with the equipment equipped with a blade and spread 2 tons of salt on the road this morning. If you have a road through the Bâlea Lac area, make sure! You have the car ready for the winter conditions! ”, The representatives of the Regional Directorate of Roads and Bridges of Brașov sent on Facebook on Sunday.
It also snowed in Transfăgărășan and Transalpina on Saturday, and CNAIR announced that the first snow removal interventions of this season had been carried out.
Traffic in the mountain sectors in Transfăgărășan and Transalpina will be closed on Tuesday for all categories of vehicles, in certain sectors:
- DN 7C between km 104 + 000 (Piscu Negru) and km 130 + 800 (Cabana Bâlea Cascada);
- DN 67C – between km 34 + 800 (Rânca) and km 79 + 200 (Curpat).
