According to Rise Project, his name is Valentin Daniel Bololoi and, in the past, he was arrested for robbery.
Under the cover of anonymity, he made several accusations against Nicusor Dan, Gabriela Firea’s main counter-candidate, supported with fervor by Antena 3.
Bololoi was arrested in 2002 for robbery and has been known to have a criminal record ever since. Along with four accomplices, he stole women’s jewelry, a camera, and other personal belongings. He was released a year and a half later. The robbery took place in a late-night bar in Sector 3, the area dominated by a feared clan from the underworld: Caranii.
According to the cited source, in 2014 Valentin Daniel Bololoi became a witness in the organized crime case of the Carans and Duduians, in which the two clans are accused of usury associated with gambling. Bololoi described in court the power struggles in the Bucharest subways and the moments in which he actively participated in them, as a close friend of Aurel Raducan, one of the leaders of the Carans.
In 2012, Valentin Daniel Bololoi also worked for real estate mogul Marius Locic. That is the context he referred to in the interview broadcast by Antena 3, he says.
The Bucharest court had suspended in that year the authorization to build a five-story building, which Valeriu Stoica (former liberal Justice Minister) and the billionaire Locic wanted to build in the Cotroceni neighborhood.
