Iaşi’s wife knew very well that she is not allowed to taste the delicious autumn fruits, but she gave in to her cravings and enjoyed only a few berries.

According to the newspaper Bună Ziua Iaşi, the octogenarian had been on dialysis for 5 years after suffering a kidney blockage and was in no way allowed to eat grapes.

The doctors who treated her claimed that, although she consumed a small amount of grapes, even this could have been fatal.

Only a few hours later, the old coward would not have been alive due to a momentary wish.

The cited source reported that the woman felt numbness in her hands and feet, after which she was completely paralyzed after eating grapes.

Doctors are well aware of these reactions and advise people on dialysis not to eat autumn fruits and vegetables.

The spokesperson for the “CL Parhon” Hospital in Iaşi explained to all those on dialysis the dangers they are exposed to by consuming grapes.

“The patient arrived at the hospital in serious condition after consuming a small amount of grapes.

It is a phenomenon we are faced with especially in autumn, when, out of lust, dialysis patients are tempted to eat grapes, tomatoes, wort and many other autumn vegetables.

Unfortunately, patients who consume them can die. Potassium levels increase in the body, and the kidneys, responsible for balancing the potassium level in the blood, do not cope and thus hypotemia is reached, ”said Dr. Ionuţ Nistor.

Fortunately, the old woman is now well thanks to the doctors who managed to save her life.

In the end, the woman realized how bad the amount of grapes could be.

“In previous years, we have seen many deaths among dialysis patients after eating grapes, tomatoes, or other fall vegetables.

We recommend that dialysis patients avoid these foods. If they still want to consume them, we recommend that they bring them to dialysis sessions and consume them during the sessions, ”added Dr. Lonuţ Nistor.

“Excess fluid can have negative health consequences, such as high blood pressure, heart problems and shortness of breath.

A person on dialysis can consume 0.5 l of liquid a day, according to the recommendation of the specialist doctor ”, shows bzi.ro.
