More precisely, in Bucharest 762 new cases of infection by the new coronavirus were registered in the last 24 hours, at this moment here the total number of infected people is 37,650.
Cluj County ranks second with 355 new infections in just 24 hours, with the total number of cases reaching 10,191. In Timiş County (9914 cases in total) 318 new cases were registered from yesterday to today.
There have been no new cases in Satu Mare County in the last 24 hours.
In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized for COVID-19 is 11,897. Of these, 974 are hospitalized in ATI.
To date, 3,305,309 tests have been processed nationwide. Of these, 30,336 were performed in the last 24 hours, 17,698 based on the case definition and medical protocol, and 12,638 upon request.
Likewise, since the last information made by GCS, the results of 103 tests processed before the last 24 hours and transmitted until November 3 have been reported.
In Romania, 31,674 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are isolated in their homes and 11,289 people are in institutional isolation. In addition, 58,021 people are in home quarantine and 18 people are in institutionalized quarantine.
